History[]

Tako debuted in episode 7, when Hiyoshi invented them to be the sixth member of the Voltes team. He showed off his invention to Kenichi, who chided him for playing around while the earth was in danger.

When the Boazanians sent a beats fighter to earth, Tako insisted that Hiyoshi take them along with the Voltes team, but when Hiyoshi reminded them of Kenichi's warning, Tako started crying. Tako then suggested hiding in Hiyoshi's clothing, which Hiyoshi agreed to.

While the team were fighting the beast fighters headed by Katherine, Hiyoshi's Volt Machine became damaged, thus making the team unable to form Voltes V. An enraged Kenichi blamed Tako for distracting Hiyoshi, and threatened to shoot them. When Hiyoshi begged him not to shoot it Kenichi gave him his gun and told him to do it instead. However, Hiyoshi then got the idea to disassemble Tako to fix his Volt machine, promising to Tako that he would reassemble him.
